I have now converted an old space in the house (an old dumping ground) to a fully equipped, small home studio. It’s a great facility offering; daylight, fresh air, and it’s connected directly to the house. This is ideal for what l want. lf l want to stop for a cuppa, rest or to go through to my office, l can do it immediately and without any worry.

My Professional Wildlife Photography
I began my wildlife photography around the early to mid 80s. However around the mid 90s I had decided to specialise into that of the species of the “Natural World”. Very soon after this decision, my photography and l gained representation via a number of “Image Stock Agents”. At this point l also moved up to working on a “semi-pro” basis. In 2002 l sold my music company (consisting of an audiocassette duplication company and a complete “Audio Post-Production & Pre-Mastering Studio”). At this time l had also decided to test the water at working on a professional basis in my photography.
This included visiting and working in many locations, for example; England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Southern Ireland, The Falkland Islands, Santiago - Chile, Namibia, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, just to mention but a few Locations (I loved them all).
Throughout my entire photographic career l was assisted and supported greatly by “Canon UK”, Speed Graphic and later sponsored by “Stealth Gear” for all my “Camouflage Clothing, Hides, Netting, Bean Bags, and Lens Covers etc.
I also ran a number of courses and workshops, the most favorite being the “Birds of Prey, Seal Pupping, Sea Birds, including Puffins, Guillemot, Razorbills, Shags, Water Falls” and many more topics. These were all extremely popular and successful.

My working career started way back in my mid teens working in both recordings studios and on location. In those days where many venues with live audiences. As time went on, actual recording studios began to open, but without engineers. This was great for the engineers who had worked on locations.
By this time l had moved my work into audio “Editing and Audio Post-Production”, which l really enjoyed. This was the very last point of work before the end product, the manufacturing of records (Vinyl) and audio cassettes’.
In the early 80s, my wife and l decided to open the “North’s” very first “Audio-Cassette Duplication Factory”, complete with another first; our fully equipped “Post Production and Editing Suite” which would remove or repair all the blemishes and preparing masters for; Vinyl, Audio-Cassettes, and later the “CD” masters.
